
Refund Policy
i) Medical Refunds:
Skaters are eligible for a refund due to medical reasons after missing a minimum number of weeks of skating. Reimbursement will be pro-rated:
- Two consecutive weeks of skating during the Spring or Summer program
- Four consecutive weeks during the Fall-Winter program.
Example: If a skater misses 6 weeks of skating during the Fall-Winter program, the skater is eligible to 2 weeks reimbursement. (6 weeks - 4 weeks)
Skaters must provide the following to the Board of Directors within thirty days of the skater's injury or illness:
- Note from a Medical Doctor (MD)
- Letter from the parent(s) detailing the reason for the refund
The documentation will be reviewed and is subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Reimbursement will be pro-rated and will be in the form of a credit toward the upcoming session.
ii) General Refunds:
Refunds for non-medical reasons are available to skaters registered in the following programs:
- Pre-canskate
- Canskate
- Canpowerskate
Refunds for these programs will be granted if withdrawal occurs prior to the third class in the session. A letter from the parent(s) detailing the reason for the refund must be provided to the Board of Directors. No other refunds for non-medical reasons will be permitted.
All refunds described under section (i) and (ii) are subject to a $25.00 service fee.
The $35.00 Skate Canada fee is not refundable.
There are no refunds for our Trial packages.
There are no make up days for missed sessions.
There are no make up days for ice cancellations.
