Our History
Riverside Skating Club was founded in 1958. Throughout it's history Riverside Skating Club has been influential in providing training to future athletes as well as recreational benefits provided by being involved in a healthy, fun activity.
We are proud to be known as the home of Jennifer Robinson, whom you can read about here.

RIVERSIDE SKATING CLUB BURSARIES
Parents are reminded that effective the 2008/2009 skating season the following requirements must be met by each family receiving a bursary from the Riverside Skating Club Bursary Fund:
1. Competition Reimbursement: In order to receive registration fee reimbursement for a
Western Ontario competition (to include Sectionals, Western Challenge, Nationals,
Trillium Cup and StarSkate Championships) a skater’s family must chaperone 2
dances (tentative dates below).
2. Qualifying Bursary: To receive a bursary for qualifying for the skating events listed
below, a skater’s family must chaperone 5 dances (tentative dates below).
These qualifying events are limited to:
Western Challenge $500
Skate Canada Junior Nationals $750
National Championships $750
Ontario Trillium Cup/Winter Games $500
Trillium StarSkate Championships $250
Western Ontario Development Team $150
These requirements and bursary amounts are subject to review on an annual basis. These requirements are per skater in a family. Skater must be full package and skate for Riverside skating club!
